In Ghana there is a tradition for the family head to be buried in a coffin symbolizing his profession. Elaborate wooden models are carved and painted. Cut and post this link : plus.google.com/photos/107368141797460783036/albums/5621062298456792593?banner=pwae.g a fish for a fisherman, an aircraft for a pilot, a hammer for a carpenter, etc. The last one ? Yep ! Thats a GAL for a snail farmer ! Images courtesy Jean-Michel Rousset, Bruxelles and Picasa
