Thank you all for your comments. Etana, thanks me to. actually, It was very difficult for him to reach that haha but he enjoyed the challenge and slept very long and quite well. At this moment i replaced it by coconut hanging on the ceiling. Now, more snails are able to sleep in it (and they will do)

The hanging flower pot idea is great, I'll have to see if I can figure something out similar.

thanks :-) it has a lot of benefits. You save space in your container and you encourages theire exercise. I think that's healthy for snails. In nature they have to move as well. An advise: be sure there is something soft underneath. Mine would sometimes fall during their discovery and if there is a watertank with rocks below, they could fall hard.
You can also use a coconut with a hole in it, which is easier to drilling holes in par example
