Moon laid an egg!
And then it hatched!
For a while I'd see her in different positions, but she always stayed around the same place where she hatched. But then I found her up on the ceiling of her makeshift cage!
And I got to take a picture of her on a leaf!
Then I took some pictures with my friend's camera!
Such a cute little snail! :-)

That's really cute! Such a wonderful baby. She/he might have moons personality perhaps?

She's definitely grown, and such a pretty looking snail. Have you given her a name yet?

Eclipse is a really good name! Someone suggested Luna, and I like that too. I think her name might be Luna! :-)

I love it when snails do cute things like this :-) Before that, she was doing thing where they try to reach straight up as far as possible, with only a tiny bit of her foot on the red thing! It was adorable but I couldn't get a picture!

Hehe! :-)
The foods the snails always have are romaine lettuce, sweet potato, carrot, and cuttlebone. I think they also eat the coir and moss sometimes. Besides that, I put other foods in but not as consistently―I have fish flakes which I soak and put in sometimes, and I give them slices of apple, pear, and banana sometimes, depending on what fruits I'm eating (I cut out a slice to share when I eat fruit). In my experience, almost all garden snails love a slice of ripe banana! Do you have any suggestions for foods to add?
