Well, on Monday I put in the ventricosa tank a new large piece of cuttlefish, the 2 ventries have literally wrapped themselves around it, eyestalks in, and there they have stayed. They have not eaten any of their food. Why are they doing this? I have not attempted to get them off the cuttle as I figure that they must be doing this for a reason but normally these two eat everything in sight so what is going on???

We've talked about this behaviour on the forum before.Snails can get the calcium from the cuttlefish through their foot by disolving it.I would just let them sit on the cuttlefish,my Margies do this all the time.
