I found this little bug in my woodlice tank. It's possible they came with the woodlice and I haven't seen any in the snail tank but it's possible they'll make their way in there so I wanted to identify them. I know this is a really rubbish photo but it's the best I could get. There seems to be both what I assume are adults (pictured) and younger little yellow ones too. The seller I bought the woodlice from also sells springtails so it's maybe possible some got mixed up in with the woodlice maybe? I've never seen a springtail before though. Anyone know if that's maybe what this is? Sorry again for the rubbish photo. Little thing was fast and didn't stay still for long.

Can it fly or does it just crawl?

Definitely not a springtail, they're whitish and smaller, and often jump a couple cm when you put a finger near (some can't be bothered though). Other than that I don't know, sorry.

It can't fly. It just ran about. There was a moment I thought it jumped but I might be wrong. I thought it might be a springtail because I seen photos of springtails that were dark like it. Hrm. This identification thing just got a whole lot harder. LOL.
