Hey,
I keep my snail in my room and I like to have my music on a lot. I have noticed that Robert (my snail) comes out of his shell when I play various different music.
He's more likely to sleep or 'play dead' when I play softer classical or choiral music and to come out to play whenever I play pop or rock music. I'm not into any heavy metal so I doubt he'll ever get to experience that but he still reacts seemingly according to what music I'm playing.
He's a fulica and no-one else I know that has a fulica has ever noticed.
Has anyone else noticed this or is it just me and Robert.

Hi - you may find your snail is responding to the vibrations from the bass sounds in your pop or rock music which is causing it to come out of its shell to see whats up so to speak.
