my snail, Humbug, keeps burying himself in the compost so that only the tip of his shell can be seen, is this normal or am i doing something wrong?
Can i use compost even though it has John Innis in it?

What is this? Burying for some days is a normal behaviour. Always check the temperature and humidity, sometimes the snails bury when it's too cold/hot or the humidity is wrong. Watch your snails if they come out after some days to have some food.
