Hello, I've gt 3 juvenile fulicas and I'd like to monitor their individual growth, behaviour etc. To do that I need to tell them apart - somehow. Is there a safe way marking their shells so that I can tell who's who? Bees are marked with Tippex I think. Would that be suitable for the snails? How about nail varnish? I don't want to poison them though...! Thanks

nail polish, as long as its a small amount on the shell and does not touch the snails themselves, is allowed to dry completely b4 they are put back is fine.

ive put a black marker spot on Scooby's shell right at the back on the smallest section - even tho atm i CAN tell them apart without it as Scooby is 1/2 inch bigger than Shaggy
