My boyfriend found shells of these snails and was wondering if I can have them if he can find live ones? They're cone shaped (about 1cm) and helix aspersa's are brown garden snails

What a cool snail! Yes, you can house them with Aspersas. As for where to find live ones, as I don't know the ecology of your area, I'm not sure. Apparently they are common in grain fields.

Hi all, monssnails is absolutely right. The only valid name is Cochlicella barbara. Prietocella is the name of the subgenus. Kind regards: wolf
