I got 10 dimidiata off beth about 6 weeks ago, they were all about 1cm shell length when they came now 9 of them are 2cm shell length but 'Milky' is still 1cm he hasn't even grown 1mm of new shell, he seems ok but they are all towering over him now and i feel really sorry for him any advice??? He's probably fine, but if he was mine I think I would be powdering cuttlefish on his food, do you ever see him eat the cuttlefish?

oh im sorry when theyre that young and they stop growing its rare for them to survive I posted on the growth board about my dimidiata, one is 4cm, and one is about 2cm, and the smaller one has hardly grown since we got her - whereas the larger one has grown slowly but well. The little one spends most of her time hidden/buried somewhere, and when I do catch her eating, she's usually on the cuttlefish (although she does eat the food too). But she's not grown in the 2 months we've had her, maybe half a centimetre max. Does it mean she's going to die?

no not always, people have had stunted fulica, who do grow and reach adult hood but will maybe just grow to about 5-6cm max, they should survive if looked after well and kept a good eye on.

I'm sorry about your little one, just realised how insensitive it was of me to post like that *eek*
