my margies have laid eggs again but this time it is either my brixinton margie has crossbred with my suturalis margie or my big margie likes to mate and lay eggs in 2 diffrent piles. a couple of days ago these two marges were burrowed together in the moss they both left and there was 8 eggs in the pile and today the same two snails were together again in a diffrent place in the moss and another batch of 9 eggs is there

i dont think 1 snail ever lays 2 batches of eggs, so the ovum has probably bred with the suturalis. the babies should be interesting ;D

I do have some crossbred babies crawling around in a tank and it seems that the reddish shelltip is a dominant factor. Hope the eggs hatch.
