I have hundreds of snail pics and I love to show them off, so I thought I should share a few of them and their stories here.
A small warning, I don't know how to work with ImageShack, I hope the pictures are visible.
This is my one-eyed snail, which I creatively named Ciclope. He was rescued by my sister, when she brought it home I tried to get him out of his shell, when he finally did I noticed something weird, he had two eyeballs but only one upper tentacle! He laid eggs but they didn't hatch.

The next one is White, I brought him from school and kept him when I noticed he was very pale. I think he was an albino.

I washed their terrarium with detergent to get rid of the mites (wasn't too successful), but I couldn't just put the snails in there after using a dangerous chemical so I put them in a bowl and sealed it with stretch wrap. I must have missed a spot because I woke up in the middle of the night with half of them wandering in my room.

I accidentaly broke a snail's shell while washing it, it was still alive and the shell didn't go inside the body so I gave it some cucumber with calcium powder and half of a cardboard ball to hide. It proceeded to ignore the cucumber and eat the cardboard ball.

Never leave your snails alone for too long, they don't like standing still.
