So I have some Cornu aspersum, and space permitted, I wondered if I could cage them together with other species?
I ask because I will be getting some Cepaea nemoralis in the spring. And wondered if I should spend more on getting a whole different set up for them. I know snails and slugs probably shouldn't be homed together. So does it matter if I house separate species of snails together? I could see keeping Land snails and Tree snails separate. .

I've housed grovesnails with a flamed tigersnail and whitelip snails before. There didn't seem to be any problems with this, though being a smaller species I thought the flamed tigersnail would do better on its own. It seemed to be much more active when I moved it to its own enclosure. I have been keeping my species separate since then mostly just for the sake of organization, but since the two species you are interested in are of similar size I'd say they should be alright. I don't have any experience with garden snails, so maybe someone else could weigh in

I house a whole bunch of species together with sizes ranging from a pea to bigger than a quarter. They're all totally happy and have no problems.
