They probably still are fine if the eggs are not cracked. They're harder than you think.

Oh no. Stay positive they might still hatch As Arno said they are harder than we think lol *Has flash backs of egg opening the other day* The white patches, is there only one on each egg like the heat bubble thing you told me about? Was just wondering as a few of my new batch slipped and fell when I was moving them (only a cm or so though), might be the same thing?

Ok good news, i was shining my little light into the eggs last night and in at least three of the eggs are live babies, i could see their little foot stuck to the side of the egg like a little sucker, and i could see the shell, they are the size of the egg now and the cutest thing was i could see the heart beating! so cute in at least 3 of the 7 in the second batch, i didn't look at all of them, so they will be hatching out anytime now ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Can you back light them and take a pic from the front? We'd see the outline at least.

Ok i turned the flash off the camera, the only thing is this makes the pics a bit blurry, but i think they came out pretty good ok that dark patch is the foot suckered to the side of the shell, probably rasping away to break out. ok on this one you can see i turned the egg slightly, the really dark patch at the top is the foot, the large slightly lighter area to the left is the shell and the really bright yellow small area to the right is extra room for the snail to move. I can't show in the pic but when i look just behind the columella i see the heart beating.

this baby that has hatched is so funny, it pushed a chunk of shell up which i took away, next thing i knew the egg was mooving! what he had done was stick his head out of the hole and began to crawl along with the shell still on, lol, hes so cute ;D
