Coming up with 100+ names isn't easy, so I decided to name only some of my adult snails, here they are:
Âmbar (Amber), he's an Otala lactea with a very thin shell, so thin that it looks golden and his internal organs are visible.
Risquinhas (Little Stripes), I actually had two Otala with this name, both of them had a black shell with beige spiralling stripes, unfortunately one of them passed away.
Escapas (Escapes), a Rumina decollata with a broken whorl who managed to escape his enclosure. Now that's all I call him.
Ali, a Cornu aspersum I saved from a wall in my school, the brownish yellow markings on his black shell looked like arabic writing so I gave him a fitting name.
Picoco, another Cornu, this one has a slightly damaged shell and his name is just gibberish my mom said when seeing him.
Come Bebés (Eats Babies), also a Cornu, and he deserved this name. Long story short, stepped on a baby snail on my way to school, put the little guy in the adults' terrarium in the hopes it'd survive, and came back later to find it half eaten and this guy right beside it.
That last one was a little dark. Anyway, wanna share your snails' names and why you chose them? I'd be happy to hear!
