Hey all, I'm relatively new here and have 5 helix aspersas. I picked one up, they were in their shell and they had an odd yellow mucus on them? Pic is the mucus on a cotton ball, and it was only on one snail. The snail is very much alive.

Maybe it was just poop that wasn't as solid as normally? What did they last eat, anything yellow in it?

Sometimes this happens when they’re scared- cotton isn’t usually a good thing for them to touch so that could be why (if they were directly on the cotton that is) and otherwise it usually means they’re sick

My Aspersa did that too, but it was when they were new and I was handling them actively. I think it was just frightened, because I haven't seen yellow slime since.
