My lignus have laid quiet a few batches of eggs for me again. There are 4 seperate ones on the floor in the tank, so I think they are from different lignus. So far I am trying to hatch 11 eggs and 6 babies, I don't think I would want to keep the eggs that I found today. I have asked my friend if she would like to take them off me before I am thinking to freeze them. But since she lives pretty far away from me and I have no time to drive to her these few weeks. I wonder if anyone knows it's safe to send the lignus eggs at all or they are just no good even after overnight shipping?

i wouldnt advise sending them, because moving them around too much will give them less chance of developing although when the very first lignus arrived in captivity (not wth me with fatslug) they laid eggs while in transit from africa and hatched so i say it is entirley up to you if you want to take the risk
edited to add but if you are going to freeze them i say send them so they at least have a chance to hatch

Why are you not hatching them,i'm sure there'll be other people here on the forum who are interested in some.. I will be going away for a month soon. I don't want to freeze them, but if the eggs hatch, what am I going to do with them while I am not there? That's why I asked my friend (very good friend and she has excellent knowledge of looking after snails and hatching eggs.) I have counted there are 18 eggs from this morning, and I am trying to hatch 11 eggs right now and have 6 babies lignus alone. I will try to call my friend again and see if she can meet me half way.
