I recently got my albino Lissachatina reticulata. He seems to be very healthy and somewhat active. I know they're young and mostly have a weird cycle at first. I noticed they sleep a lot after eating. Is that a normal thing? He also does this thing where he looks around, very stretched out, looking up and around and whatever. Is that a normal thing to see? I thought it seemed off to me. I attached a pic to describe what i mean. I also have my setup photos attached. Please let me know if it's good!

Sounds like very healthy normal behavior to me. He’s a cute little guy! Sleeping after meals is perfectly normal. mine like to stretch and look up at me to, they are just curious and a evaluating their surroundings. He looks very healthy to. Good luck! Snails are great pets, you’ll enjoy him. Looks like a nice looking habitat too, what kinds of foods does he get?

Snails are great pets, you’ll enjoy him. Looks like a nice looking habitat too, what kinds of foods does he get? First thing was cucumber and crushed egg shells. (not for the meme, i swear). Did this because my cuttlebone comes tomorrow. After that some softened banana. Gonna get some lettuce, curled kale, and some blueberries for him as well. Honestly I love snails and getting him was a huge moment for me. Obviously I'm gonna be worried for things like that but it's normal as it seems haha. Like i said he probably needs time to get used to the area as its been two days with me so far. It only bugged me because he got really long. Like he was gonna plop out of that shell of his. I have my temps 75-80F with humidity reaching from 65-80%. Hoping he can get a little more active to explore the cove i made him. He just eats and crawls under the wood to sleep, waking up when i mist him.

sounds good, generally try not wake him up to much though (it’s like someone waking you up in the middle of a nice nap), but don’t stress, waking him up won’t hurt him don’t worry about him not caring to explore, eating and sleeping is really all they do and if there is food, water and a place to hide in one place they usually don’t feel very inclined to leave that place.
