I'm SO worried --- My Mystery snail clutch that I've tried so hard to have hatch did so while I was at work today & was not in water. It was in a make shift incubator & was practically dry. The babies are so small I can't tell if they are alive. I gently released the last of the egg sac into the aquarium where the incubator had been floating most in a breeder box some directly into the aquarium. There is NOTHING in this 10 g aquarium except their parents. What do I do now? Should I release the ones in the breeder box/net so they can have something to eat or just feed them in the breeder net/box? What do I feed them IF they are even alive? I have ALL types of fish food, algae wafers & could blanch them some slices of zucchini squash -- that's their parent's favorite food. I still have 3 other snail clutches. One was just laid today & I have chosen to leave it in place NOT incubate. The other 2 have been incubating for 8-11 days. They don't appear fertilized. I just love Mystery snails, their parents are GREAT & this is actually what I wanted in this hobby -- SNAILS & BETTAS. I've failed miserably w/the bettas so really want these snails to make it. PLEASE HELP.

I would try offering the babies a little food, if they are alive then they will probably come out to eat some. Blanched zucchini would probably good. Make sure you boil it for a while so it’s plenty soft, babies can’t chew the same things adults can.
