Help! My juvenile garden snail has a chipped front of shell!

Hello, I am a new snail owner but I own 3 snails ( 2 adults and 1 that’s like 3 months) and I have and am dealing with another snail with a cracked shell but today I was noticing the front ?mantle? Part of my baby’s shell was loose and clear. I put my baby back into the tank and went and looked on the internet but found nothings
When I went back to check on him a part fell off and then soon after another piece fell off. Non of their organs are showing and he seems pretty active. I don’t know what to do is this a sign of any other diseases?

Hi, my Giant African Land Snail and one of my garden snails also chipped their shells recently, if the chip is on or near the lip and isn’t very severe looking it should heal fine. 

if it looks worse there is some info here.
