I’ve had my wild caught Deroceras Reticulatum for a little while now, and early december I have plans to introduce Helix Pomatia, commonly known as “roman snails” or “burgundy snails” to the tank. My Deroceras Reticulatum show no signs of illness and this would be very closely monitored until the snails would be introduced to the tank. Do you think I would have issues with illness? I also know that Deroceras Reticulatum are supposedly omnivores yet when I’ve offered egg they’ve ignored it, even tried to avoid it. I think that even if Deroceras Reticulatum truly is omnivorous it shouldn’t be an issue, as Helix Pomatia would be larger than them (and the gap would only increase, as the H. Pomatia i’m getting are babies) and both would have more than enough space to avoid eachother- I have a 26.5gal bin tank, which can technically house 36 H. Pomatia but I’m only using it for the 3 Deroceras Reticulatum and, as mentioned, (hopefully) soon to be 2 Helix Pomatia. Do you think it would be safe? What are some other factors to consider? Any insight would be much appreciated
