Hi everyone, I bought two albino snails a couple months ago when they were small. They're from the same clutch and were completely fine, shell wise, and seemed healthy. But over time as they grew, their shells developed these horrible indents - cuts - cracks & white bubbles underneath their shells. What is strange, is that both snails have the exact same patterns of these faults. And I mean exactly, like identical twins. So is this a shell deformity caused by bad genetics, since they are from the same clutch and have the exact same faults, or my bad husbandry? Other than the bad shells, they eat / poop normally & are active. For context: My other snails, who live in the same environment as them with the same diet / temperature / humidity don't appear to have any of these problems - So I think it must be genetics since my other unrelated snails don't have any of these issues? It would be amazing if someone could tell me what is wrong with them or me if I'm not doing anything right

How strange. Do they always have access to calcium?

How strange. Do they always have access to calcium? They do, they have a big cuttlefish bone and they use it whenever they wish.

That’s weird. Could be genetics. At least they are healthy and there is nothing to worry about.
