Hello everyone!
I'm thinking about buying a Giant African Land Snail and really like the look of Achatina Fulica Jadatzi, though I'm stuck on the fact that they apparently have a very high rate of fertilized (?) eggs. I currently won't be equipped to handle more than a couple of snails, and probably will only have one anyway since they can only self-fertilize that way, and would hate the idea of somehow missing a clutch (If I get eggs I'll freeze them) and ending up with a ton of hatchlings i'd have to kill
. If any of you have experience with this species any info on their egg laying, housing, size and general care would be appreciated!! This will be my first time keeping snails so though I've obviously done research I'm still not completely sure about a few things.
