im heartbroken. just last night, my lil lady was climbing about like she always did. climbing the other snails, climbing inside the plastic hide, etc. i extended my finger to her and she poked me with her tentacles and gave me a curious rasp, before trying to climb me.
this evening, i saw her detached halfway from the wall. i poked her shell & she fell off. she was deep inside her shell with the tip of her foot just hanging partially out. i sprayed her with water. i held her to a flashlight and looked for her heartbeat over and over. nothing.
i dont know what it couldve been. maybe she hadnt been eating. or acting ill and i didnt notice. ill never know. all i can do now is care for the others.
