hey guys!! i made sure i was more used to the behaviors to snails and done even more extensive research and now i’m thinking about adding more snails!! Before I get more milk snails i was wondering you guys know any good breeds that work well with milk snails/have close to the same care? currently i have 2 milk snails and plenty of room to get at for sure at least one more snail. (i’m pretty sure it’s a 15 gal tank but not completely sure)

Hello! Thats is awesome! Cornu aspersum have been housed with milk snails before, and some other species I can't remember, but Cornus would be the most common. I have housed Neohelix albolabris with Cornu aspersum before, but I can't say much for milks. Mainly because there aren't many care guides for specific snail species. Goodluck with your new snails!

Goodluck with your new snails! those are snails that are found in a lot of gardens right? it would be bad to find out outside though right? like because of diseases and parasites?

Yes, you can find them outside, but it depends on the area you live in. You can take them from outside, but they must be quarantined for about a month before being introduced to your other snails. They should be dewormed as well, but that is something you should do regularly for all snails. Snails in general don't pose a very high risk to you if you are washing your hands, and cleaning up properly after handling, etc.

Your welcome! Yes, I forgot to mention that. The best way to deworm your snail is to feed them pumpkin seeds and bell peppers. You can buy a pre-made deworming mix off Etsy, made by Britany Bellows.

Exciting news! As snaileyhammy said, I'm fairly certain that cornu aspersums are commonly housed with milk snails make sure you quarantine any new ones though!!
