sorted margies today and one was right back in his shell with a glob of what looked like transparent fat worm poking out, i had a sniff and there was no smell, had a prod and no movement so i put him in a tub by heat hoping he was just cold, the glob thing has gone but still no sign of life so im 99% certain hes dead, still no smell (will keep until he stinks) worrying thing is,,,,,,,,,,what was the poky out thing? all others are fine

still right back in shell, the thing has shrivelled up pretty certain hes dead though That sounds exactly like what one of my Tigers died of 2 years ago.It was part of the genitals expelled from the opening just behind the right tentacle.During mating this happens anyway so I don't know what made this fatal in this case.
