Hey guys! i own two milk snails and im just not completely sure if they’re happy or not. They have been staying in the same place for months, i understand they will be more inactive and estivate especially in the cold but i just want to see if i should do anything to give them a happier healthier life. i mist their tank when i wake up, before i leave for work, and before i go to bed. i also wet my hand and pet their shells to make sure even if they aren’t moving they get enough moisture. i’ve been changing their food because i haven’t noticed them eating but they have been pooping and stuff since it’s on the side of the tank. I currently keep a piece of cuttlebone with their food but should i add calcium powder to it? i’ve read that you should cover their lid partly to keep humidity in so i’ve been doing that recently Although we have heaters in my house, could they be too cold? should i invest in a small one just for them? i plan on adding plants but when i look at plant stores, i can’t ever find them. I added photos of the tank and my the snails currently. please let me know if there anything i can do to make them more happy and healthy, even if they don’t get more active. imgur.com/a/N5moWzI

Hi! It sounds like to me you are taking wonderful care of them already. Although, if you want them to be more active, you might possible have to get them a heater. But other than that, they sound happy to me. Also, If you just give them cuttlebone, they should be good on calcium, no need to use calcium powder. They should be able to fin their food when they need it, just make sure its spread out within their tank. Let me know if you have any other questions, etc.
