So, a while ago my snail, the same one that later perished from an unknown cause that caused her body to swell, laid about 40 eggs before she decided to leave me with the babies. I found about 10 to 20 of them (eggs), which were humanly and safely disposed of. So imagine my surprise when I wake up on newyears day to find 25 baby snails just chilling outside of the encloser cause they fit through the holes. They have spend the last two months in a nursery, 20 of them still kicking (i know death is decently common for the small snails) considering my adult snails died of mites , the nursery is where they stay until I can fully clean the adult tank But this did make me wonder, are there any specific needs baby snails have, different from adult snails? They are the offspring of two common garden snails, not from one cloning themselves. 3 of the 20 have barely grown since hatching, while the others doubled in size. I know they might not make it to adulthood, but that is okay, i can handle it. But if anyone has any tips that would be lovely ^_^ (Darn it Peper, you really said "here you a grandma now, deal with the kids.")

Hey! So sorry for the late reply! With garden snails, no, not really. There are not any huge care changes for the babies, just that you ahem to be very careful with them. You will just keep them in the same conditions you kept the parents in, feed them regularly, etc, and they should thrive! Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns ok!

Nah that's it so far. I have been very careful, though I am glad the babies seem a bit more durable than I thought (i was very worried touching them would just destroy them) but then again, they are a few months old now (3 months exactly ^_^)
