First off, I'd like to say Hi to everybody! I'm a relative newbie when it comes to snails, I just got mine a little while ago, and haven't made any preparations...
I feed my snail lettuce, and it seems to like it a lot. Recently though, I found that there were icky maggot-like things growing in the soil it came with, so I tossed the soil out and put toilet paper in. I figure its absorbant and easy to come by, and I checked to see if there were any red alerts on using toilet paper instead of dirt...looks like no.
So anyway, my snail hasn't been eating much lettuce and its been pooping a LOT. White poop. I'm scared that it has been eating the toilet paper instead of the lettuce and I don't want it to get hurt...
what should I do?
