Ive rescued hin about a week ago frim the street cuz he had a small break in his shell and its summer now. he repair his shell in a few days and he was active and feeding good untill yeaterday. yesterday i found him near the wll of the box semi retracted nor attached to anything. he didnt responded much just retracted a bit with touch. im pretty sure he didnt eat that day. after that i moved him to a new clean box without food. since then he is all the time semi retarcted not moving on his own. 2 hiurs ago i noticed this weired thing appeared from the connection ofbhis foot to the mentle but in other side then where to anus is. now there are more things appearing them and they look like poop. what do you think is it and what do tou think can help treat him? thank you

I'm not sure about your situation, but snails do poop a lot, and, personally, I see nothing wrong by your comment alone. He also needs calcium source and food available, even if he doesn't eat much of it. Snails can get pretty inactive sometimes. There's nothing wrong about them not being attached to anything either. Some of my snails sometimes nap on their shells with their feet hanging out freely, scrunched up, but they've been doing it from the start, and for a long time, too, so I'm not worried. This snail is still new to you, so maybe you just need to observe his behaviour and habits and what's normal to him. Maybe he has some food preferences? If you suspect infection, try giving him a shallow green tea bath.
But then, I'm no expert, so I hope someone else can give a better advice!

therea somethi g very wrong with him.. maybe im not explaining it right but he is very very weak. other then retracting when touched he isnt moving at all for more then 48 hours.
