my largest fulica has been eating his shell in the corner and hes shell doesnt look very good i dont no how to stop him from doing it
does anyone have any sugestions? please help

Does he have a good supply of calcium? Also worth checking for mites as their irritation can cause shell chomping.

Bare tank him for a while and see if he improves? Chewing can be a sign of mites (even if you cant see them - they're tiny and live inside them and in their bedding), but it could be that he's had mites in the past, or some shell damage, and then got into the habit of chewing. I'd bare tank him (use damp kitchen roll as substrate with no moss or compost - and bath him/clean tank daily). Plenty of cuttlefish, change food daily, and see how it goes. If he improves, it's likely it was mites (extremely common and nothing to be ashamed of - we've all had them at some point).
