Hi guys! sorry for the no posts in a long time, everything been really well with my snail. although i do have a few concerns. i was told that when it’s cold they aren’t as active, but now that it’s more warmer they still haven’t really moved. Is it true that if they are sticking to glass that they are alive? They have been in the same place for a few weeks now, i feed daily and water the tank through out the day. my big worry is that their tank is getting really dirty and needs a good cleaning. I can’t remove the snails because they are connected to the glass and haven’t moved once for me to take them out. advice? thank you!!

Whenever my snail is sticking to the plexiglass, and the tank needs to be cleaned, I just carefully break the seal by slowly prying him off. (When sleeping, and fully retracted.)
If you want to (Wake them up/Check if they are alive,) you can put them on a plate and add a little bit of water (less than 1oz) ontop of them. Then you should add their favorite food, so that they will be persuaded to emerge, just make sure not to drown the snail in the process.
