So this evening, I went to feed my snail (archachatina marginata ovum) and I found that it was very retracted, and there were loads of tiny white nematodes on its body. The other thing I found is that from the little of its body I could see, my snail (who is not albino) had this white skin on its body, but not on the end of its foot. The skin is also nothing like snail skin and I have no idea what it is or what I should do. I’m thinking euthanising my snail would be the best option but I’d really some other opinions.
Update: I decided euthanising Taro was the kindest option, although it was so hard to do I know it’s for the best.
r.i.p. Taro, I’ll miss you.
