Hello! Recently I spotted a beautiful Dark bodied glass snail (Oxychilus draparnaudi) in my garden. He was around for a few days, and I knew the following days were meant to be very frozen. He looked similar to some of my other snails I keep (Discus rotundatus) and figured he would be a welcome edition to their tank.
I researched him, and kept him apart from intended enclosure, as I do with any snails before adding them together. What I read was these types of snails, glass snails, eat the young/corpses of other snails/slugs. I am wondering if he will ever be able to be with other snails, or if he will attempt to eat them. My Discus snails are small like him, but I fear would be easy to eat. Would he be able to be with a snail of his species even? I know my snails are more active with friends, so I feel bad he is on his own for now, and unsure if he would do better in the wild, but it is winter, so, yeah.
Would greatly appreciate some advice!
