OMG I Cant Believe It Pickles One Of My Fulica Adults May Be Dead He Is Really Far Back In His Shell And He Wont Come Out He Dosent Smell I Have No Idea Whats Wronge With Him When I Fed Them Yesterday He Was Fine Sliming Around But Now He Is Just Staying Back In His Shell Can Someone Help Me I Dont Know What To Do I Feed Him And Give Him Water And Cuttle And Everything I Just Dont Know Whats Wronge He Is About 6 Years Old ( Past Down To Me A Few Years Ago By My Cousin ) So I Dont Think Its Old Age As His Brothers And Sisters Are Fine And Even His Mom And Dad Are Still Healthy And Living So Has Anyone Got Any Ideas Whats Wronge ? Please Help Me Thanks For Reading From Me

Try giving him a bath in some lukewarm water and see if he pops out? It's always been a sure fire way of getting my retracted ones to come out - even when really poorly.
I hope he's ok - let us know what happens!

He Still Hasnt Come Out Im Gonna Wait Untill Later But He Is SoFar Back You Have To TiltHis Shell To The Side Just To See A Bit Of His Flesh/Skin

Sorry to hear about your snail. I think 6 is actually quite a good age for a snail so it could be that he is just old? I think they tend to live longer in the wild as they have periods of natural inactivity or aestivation in adverse weather conditions. As pets we tend to keep them in optimum conditions which means they are active a lot of the time and in consequence their lifespan can be shorter. Like in other animals I suspect the age at which they become 'elderly' will vary.

Yeh he's dead i just took them all out and there was this horrible smell and it was comming from him and there was this yellowish slime inside his shell
