giant african snail has puffy mantle and isnt eating veggies

Hi! I have had a GALS for 4 months now, everythings been going good until i noticed that my snails mantle has puffed up, and he isnt eating things that he used to eat a lot (mostly vegetables like carrots and zucchini). He refuses to eat anything but strawberries and apricots now. I am worried for my snail, that he isnt eating vegetables and he has a puffy mantle. Does anyone know how I can get my snail to eat vegetables again and what might be with the puffy mantle? Im happy to provide more information and pictures if needed .

The only thing I can think of is maybe the vegetables have something on them that's causing him irritation? Some kind of chemical that's putting him off?


Pictures would definitely be useful to see what his mantle looks like.

The puffiness of his mantle really varies, is that normal?
