What sort of snails do you have? Doesn't sound like anything to be worried about - snail's shells are very variable in colour and can change colour over their lifetimes - many babies start of stripy and end up with solid shell colour as adults. My adult fulicas started off with rich plum coloured new growth which has gradually changed to a marbled green/cream/colour. When they are fully grown, with age they may lose almost the top 'veneer' of their shell as it isn't being replaced as quickly which can cause a sort of 'fading' effect in the colour of the shell. If they are healthy and are getting plenty of calcium which is necessary for healthy shell growth and maintenance then I wouldn't worry at all.

im not sure what kid of snaols they are as far as i can see from the piks there fulicas. they were given to me 7 months ago by someone who just said they were african giant land snail... my daughter being a lover of snails i thought it would be a great idea to get them.... in answer to what kind of green.... its a kind of metalic green with the brown of there shells also visible through it... noticed one of them had it about a week ago and since then through regular checking ive found that the other two have developed it as well... i was a little worried it might be an infection or disease but as i said before the snails seem active and responsive as normal... there eating and drinking as well.
