Hello- My daughter has 2 garden snails, and apparently she dropped the bigger snail on the hard floor today and he/she now has a big hole near the end of the shell, the last big ring before the point. The snail was just sort of pulled up inside but not all the way and unresponsive. I put a little piece of tape over the hole and it has come out a little on the cuttlebone but isn't fully extended, it's eyes aren't all the way out, seems very sad. What should I do, if anything for this poor snail.

Well, I actually had some plaster from a hand molding kit, some nail polish top coat and quaze. I fixed the hole, have put some of the nail polish on and will do a few more coats to make it really hard. The snail seems to be moving around some and eating carrots. It certainly doesn't look pretty but if it saves its life that's all that matters.

Snaillie Snail didn't make it. DD is just devastated. We still have baby snaillie so that lessons the blow a little. A hard lesson learned for a 4 year old.
