hiya I had a look in Raffys tank this morning when i noitced too little white things. Now they are absolutly TINY like a mm or something. but can you please take a look at the picture and tell me what you think they are? thanks Jess xxxxx

What type of snail is Raffy? Really sorry but the pic is too blurred to make out what you are holding.

hes a Fulica its really strange cos he doesn't live with any other snails there are 3 of them more. Jess x (sorry about the picture. Am trying a new one now)

That looks too grey to be an egg, fulica eggs are normally white or yellow. Also the last batch my fulica laid was 218 eggs (yes I did count them - yes I am a saddo). Has Raffy ever lived with another snail? Cos they may have mated a while back, snails can store sperm for aaaaages. One other possibility is that it is a 'test' egg, sometimes this can happen, it's a method used by the snails reproductive systems occasionally to check it's all in working order.

Im not sure what it was but it didn't hatch so probably not an egg!!
