Hello its me again, Well sadly my snail died for poor directions what the pet shop gave me so after some reading on species what do you think i need to have a happy snail? I was hoping go to get it today. If you dont understand what i meen,i meen substrate? plants? rocks? moss? That sort of thing,thank alot james x

Ok firstly, the compost you use should be more than a 1 inch (2.5 cm) in depth, so that your snails can dig. secondly: Plants are not an essential need, but it makes the tank more homey for your snails no rocks! If your snail was to fall on a rock, it would easily break its shell! mix the moss in with your compost, it makes it harder to fall over and it makes the ground soft. Try and get some sort of plastic pipe, wooden log or plant pot, basicly something that your snails can hide in Make sure the snails tanks tempurature is kept between 18 and 26 degrees c. Also, you should keep the tank moist by spraying the tank with water twice every day or so. the water should be luke warm in the winter and normal in the summer. And i come back with 2 baby snails yesterday im still thinking of names lol ill keep you updated as they grow dont really wanna touch them yet as there babies hehe thanks james x
