Oh my God - i have just played the movie clip on the thread just above and it's reduced me to tears My thoughts are with Terri and the little ones.

And the thing with his baby, he was a really great dad if you ever saw him on tv with his little girl and I'm sure he was in complete control with that crocodile, he's been working with them for so long he could easily know how that crocodile would react. i agree with u....he would never have put his childrens lives at risks if he didnt know what he was doing and i have seen him loads on tv with his kids. have u heard that horrible thunderbirds joke about him, its so disrespectful

I reall cant belive he is dead!!!! im STILL in shock, he was just such a great guy always doing something for animals!!! but he died doing what he loved. (though it doesnt make it right) my heart goes out to his family and of course his crocs R.I.P steve irwin, the original crocodile dundee!

Unfortunately people can be disrespectful in the event of a tragedy.They just don't think about that persons family etc or how they might feel if it was them.But the moment something happens in their life they have to think about things then.Even though I have read it in the paper and seen it on the news I still can't quite believe he's dead you know.does that sound daft or what?

Of course it doesn't sound daft, i feel exactly the same, everytime i read it or see it, its feels like the first time i found out.
the only thing i keep in my mind is that hes with his mum Lyn now, and thats what he wanted most of all :-)

theres a great program just started on animal planet+ and starts at 4pm on animal planet, its a great program and if you are a big steve fan watch it, it follows him and his family from the outback to now
