Thanks for the replies everyone ;D
Sorry I haven't been around much. What with the new house and that it's all been a bit hectic (no date for moving yet but won't be long). Also yesterday my middle son Dan gave us a right scare by having a seizure while I was cutting his hair. Panic's over now, just waiting for specialist appointments for tests and the likes. Didn't half frighten the poo out of me, even having dealt with my older son's childhood epilepsy (he only had drop attacks though - this was a bit longer and scarier).
So at the moment I'm hawkeye-ing Dan and getting ready to move, AND trying to catch up on college work, so if I come across as an ignorant bint I'm really sorry.

Thanks Val - yeah we are, even with the blip of Dan's illness (which made me completely forget about the house for the day he was in). Can't wait to get in now. A fresh start for all of us. ;D

I'm very nervous this morning because Dan's gone back to school and it's his first early morning since his seizure (over tiredness might be a contributing factor so worried sick today).
Had some doped up idiot in the front garden this morning shouting up to the druggy's window asking him something about nicking cars. He was stood there with a petrol can in his hand and discussing what the police had on the druggy - so I assume they've got him on something for a change. Two very rude words (well one rude and one "off") sent him packing and he even said sorry PMSL.
Wish us luck because this morning I'm cornering the housing officer about the new house, hoping to get the keys and sign up. He wont know what's hit him because he thinks he's only meeting with the old tenant to collect the keys, he doesn't know we'll be there yet *mwahahaha*.

Thanks! Well we get confirmation tomorrow once the contractor's been in, but it looks like we could be moving in this weekend! Wargh! Luckily I've booked some time off college.

New house is fab - needs a clean and a lick of paint, and a couple of minor jobs, but it's got brand new laminate throughout all of the downstairs, doable carpets, etc. Getting a lot of stuff left behind for us As for housewarming, give us a chance to settle in and you're welcome ;D Won't be much of a party though cos we don't drink. LOL.
