School is different, you have to go, it's not a choice. College is cool because you get to pick what you want to do. ;D Give it ten years and you'll wish you could go back to school - grown up life is miles harder *lol*.
I'm doing an Access to HE in Health, so I can get onto my nursing degree. Technically I can get on it anyway as a mature student, but I want to do this first and get back in the swing of it.

Well my first day went really well (Health Studies in the morning, Psychology in the afternoon), but I'm knackered this morning as I got back to one kid not ready and packed for Ingleborough (he's going today) and one who turned round at 9pm and said he had homework for today that he'd forgotten. Bloomin kids!
I'm back in for Criminology tonight - can't wait!

Hey Kathy, did your criminology teacher look like he was sucking polos and just worked out there was a hole in them? Y'know, like Grissom (sp?) on CSI? Did he walk like wotsisface in Rain Man too? ;D
Sorry, I had a boring night in front of CSI...

Been in this morning and am back in tonight. Flying visit. Everything's going dead well but considering it's part time I seem to be rushing from home to college or college to home most of the time. So if I'm not very quick to reply to PMs I'm dead sorry, I'm just up to the eyeballs with college and trying to sort a new house out. Hope you're all well!

I couldn't wait to get back to college. I only go one day a week tho and I'm in year 13 doing a year 12 course. I've been lumped in a class full of bitchy little girls who haven't realised they've left school yet. My class last year were really nice but they've gone on ahead of me. I'm hopefully starting my workplacement soon. Really can't wait.

I missed these replies - sorry! And good luck to everyone going through college! More "Warggghhh" today - looks like we're in the running for a new house, so I might not be on much for a while. Having to clean and paint this house ready for the inspection *pmsl*.

I work full time and go to uni part-time on day release.
The good thing about this is that it's great having uni to break the week up and you get pay and work experience while you study.
But there is nothing worse than coming home after a hard days work to have to sit down at another computer and start tapping out an assignment. Work and uni at the same time is tough and I think I would be getting better grades if I was a full time student
