Yea im working on it! So much has changed, it's amazing looking back at my original plans. Originaly I was going to spend 6 months at a time with my boyfriend until something happend (in hopes of a proposal of course!) then I could settle with him by coming over on a fiancee visa and have a wonderful happily ever after. What actually happened was the Immegration Officer at Glasgow Airport didn't like the sound of me visiting for 6 months when I flew across August 8th, and I happened to ask just the wrong quesiton unknowingly and got taken to the locked back room and questioned for about 2 hours I found out later and was told at the end I was denied entry into the United Kingdom because I coulden't satesfy her that I was only visiting because I admited I was thinking of settling in the future and after digging through my luggage found a settlement form I was messing with in pencil months ago and saved for the work my boyfriend and I put into figuring it out. *deep breath* Then they said they allowed me a week to stay to recover after I had been on a plane for like 12 hours or whatever it was in total. So much for my boyfriend and I's big reunion after being appart for 5 months...I coulden't even lift my head, and cried my eyes out in his arms. And I swear when I had to return it was a mess getting through Glasgow Airport because of the mess in the news that happened a couple of days after I arrived. Also I had to pay for my ticket change so that plus the ticket itself meant $1,400 for a week with the love of my life in Scotland. Sooooooooooooooooooooooooo... Right now im working again trying to get myself back to my boyfriend, although his family have decided to buy my next ticket which is SO sweet of them! So the money I am making is going towards the $400 settlement visa I have a good feeling i'll be applying for after I get this visit successfuly completed. I would try for a settlement visa now, but I don't want them turning around and saying "ooooh, so your settling THIS time??" Heck I was only visiting the first time! Ive been to Scotland twice, and I left when I planned to. Ive never done anything wrong, ive never committed a crime, ive never done anything, im a clean slate...well...not anymore. Now when I apply for a visa I have to tick that I have been denied entry into the UK...makes you feel like a criminal...and all I was trying to do was be with my boyfriend. Anyway...sorry for the sad story.

I'm really sorry to hear about that. This country sucks, it really does. The world is round last time I looked, old guys drew imaginary lines on it at some point and we all have to put up with that. Seems so antiquated and pathetic to me.

So sorry for everything you are going through. I know how much it sucks being away from the one you love. But I am sure everything will fall into place eventually. *hugs*

Awww, you guys are so sweet to show you care about me! I love those imaginary lines, I love differnt countries and their cultures and languages, I think it's truly a beautiful product of humanity ;D Nae bother im not blaming Scotland for this, it's not like the Scottish parlement runs it's own airports, it would be london I supose sense it's the capital of the "uk" ...heh...what really bothers me is I want Scotland to be independent because I love Scotlands rich culture and heritage, I think it's absoluty beautiful and something really special. Im always scared the push for Britishness will kill off Scottishness someday...fortunetly it's survived the Union of the Crowns so far! But ugh, I HATED having to tell the immegration officer my boyfriend is a "british" citizen...that actually hurt. By law he's british but by birth and heritage and heart, he's Scottish. eep!...sorry! I really should discuss this at the Scottish Independence forum! ........right! Point was I still love Scotland and im not blaming Scotland for that woman at Glasgow Airport giving me a hard time. I care very much for Scotland and so does my boyfriend, and that's why im willing to go through all this to live there when I could just as easily get my boyfriend here to the states. I don't like living in the usa much...it's a nice place, but I prefer living in Scotland going by the lifestyle I want.
