Odd question, but if anyone does Ive just inherited an old tigers head (which is battered and warn to disrepair) and wouldnt mind getting it cleaned/repaired so it lasts and doesnt fall appart. The ugly looking fella.... Has anyone ever had this sort of thing "repaired" or knows whats involved?

My god that is one scary looking beast - I would be terrified to have it in the house - those eyes are pretty mean. The only one I know of is in Llangollen North Wales - probably a bit far for you and I have no idea how good he is - just remember being fascinated by his window displays. Bet he will look amazing when he is all repaired - good luck in your search.

lol he is a hideous thing, But has sentimental value and is a bit of an antique. Im just wondering if its even possible to repair something so warn? Hes a bit bald in places, and has a cracked front lip in a few places. I'd guess at worst he could be cleaned up so he doesnt get further damage which would be fine.

yes - a bit of wear and tear certainly adds to the character especially with that expression I should think it would be possible to stop him deteriorating further certainly.

lol dont worry Brian I agree with you there Cheers mandy, I called one in shirehampton and they said to bring it down for a quote, but that usually it doesnt cost more than £40 to have it cleaned/fixed for mites etc. Which is all it needs for the time being so it doesnt crumble away
