I have Rosalind the Fuli baby. Then there is Hawthorn the pom, Ebony the c. nemoralis, un stripe the one striped cepaea. h and buttercup the no striped cepaea. h. plus Alice, Tigerlily, Boris, Doris, Tawny and Kathy the helix aspera gang. I can tell the difference cos wide variety of shell patterns and body colour plus size. I also have about 80 helix aspera babies who are to tiny to pick up and to numerous to name.

I tend to name my pets pretty oddly. Had a hamster named Butdk (Boo-da-ka), a cat called Dexter but I called him Déshtyn. God knows what my first snail will be called, Achintyl?! ;D

I remember my first snail, it was margie called Kordulka, it was the best name I´d known those times Now I wonder about 10 names for my new snails . It´s quite possible that some of them will be called Strigi, Kooka and Gwendolynne
