Some new snails and slugs just arrived ;D The ones from Annelie, which are 2 fulica, 2 Nigerians, 1 reticulata, and some Arianta arbustorum. As well as a pair of Tanzanian Yellow Slugs, and large Earwigs from New Zealand, Will try to get pics up of the new snails and slugs later

Do you want me to sit in the corner and rust, or just fall apart where I'm standing?

Don't you think you're underestimating them now ;D Just a little bit ;D Maybe I should measure my other snails shells, I may be surprised how big they are.

Hehe only the double size ;D I always think the snails are bigger than they actually are instead. I thought one of my fulics were like 9 cm, but he's just around 6-7 instead...

I'm just wondering that and yet I've seen other pics in the past and never thought they weren't Archachatina. They have got the raised V shape haven't they?

Its hard to tell, but I dont think they have a raised V on they're tail, if they have it isnt as prominent as the one in the example picture.

Well the V is clearly visible on my baby margies and they are much smaller than those. I'm sure if they had it you'd see it no problem. So probably an achatina species.

About the "v" shape its every chance they have it, I'm just having trouble seeing it clearly. That's odd, it should be very obvious, if the body is dark and it is hard to see, run your finger over it, the ridge is quite hard. In fact, just get one of your margies out and have a look at them to compare.

All my margies are asleep, and the Nigerians have decided they want to sleep as well I will check later when they wake up, and take pictures of them.
