Received some new snails this morning. Helix lucorum, which are the largest european snail Ive ever seen, they're huge, i'd really like to see a Helix pomatia if they're the size, or larger than these ;D Some little Croatian snails, an adult trio of reticulata, 3 stuhlmanni, 1 smithii and one fulica "Bali" as well as some Scorpions and a giant Centipede Lucky I have some shelves just put up otherwise I may need to start moving non-living thing's around to make room soon ;D Will try to get pictures of the snails up later, and of the Scorps and Centipede in off-topic if anyone wants to see them

Cool!
Kevin, take my advice, watch your fingers. Centipedes are fantastic arachnids, but some species are very nasty. I have two friends who did get bitten from small, young specimens. They had never felt such pain. One of them had problems even after months from the bite. What specie did you get?

Why some Achatina species get a white colour on the shell? It seemed that the stripes were washed away, and the snail is losing the cover of the shell... Anyone knows why?
