I know he's only a fulica, but this fella hasn't laid since November, and I was starting to get worried! Now there's a huge pile of eggs in the bottom of their moss tub, and he's the only one who's been in there. I'm not sure who the other culprit *ahem*, I mean parent - there is Cooper the fulica or fulica cross, Layla who's another fulica but still rather small at about 7cm, or the very unlikely if nigh on impossible, Monty the reticulata. I dont know how to read it really - on one hand we have Cooper, who he's never mated with before, or the newcomer Layla, who's a complete trollop, but only half grown. I know some folks were interested last time he laid eggs, but that was a long while ago, and I'll want to freeze them tomorrow (I'm not keeping any) if nobody's specifically after Sam babies again. Here's Sam (bottom left) with his friends in the food bowl tonight... But wahey and wahoo at him laying - typical male, keeping his mam worried sick....

Right, I'm actually going to hatch 2 for my daughters, so if anyone's after a Sam baby, let me know, and I'll hatch one out - but I wont be hatching the whole batch, only the odd one or two if people really want one for a pet home, and dont mind waiting for them to get big enough to post. Give me a shout asap as I will be removing eggs tonight or tomorrow latest.

I've been a lazy moo, and haven't moved them yet. I shall be doing it tonight as I have to clean them out - so if anyone's after some hatching please let me know. I'm already hatching 4, so it wouldn't be any bother to hatch a couple more.

That's why I'm freezing them and only hatching a couple Because they are wanted! I'm merely giving the chance to those who expressed an interest last time we had eggs, other than that - they're getting frozen Thanks for the concern though, but didn't you hatch some out recently? ;D

I'm probably not going to repeat it, just wanted two for my daughters to have in their room, and as I was planning on hatching them, I posted here in case anyone else wanted one hatching because we got loads of interest with Cooper's infertile batch, from folks wanting Sam and Cooper babies. But you're top of my list for an albo-a-like, it'll be a long wait though - I've only got one at the moment *lol*

Haha! I think Jasper's far too young and innocent *whistle* As for Sam's eggs, I've kept 6 out to allow for non-hatchers. But 4 have homes, should all hatch and the two spare not find one, I'll keep them too

Sad news, Sam's 6 eggs are disintergrating in the same way Cooper's only batch did - so I think Cooper may have been the other participant. So no fulicas will be hatching, I'm going to freeze what's left of them - which is basically now a patchy outer shell like a sucked smartie (if you get me) and jelly
