I can proudly announce, that I have gotten today the large breeding group of achatina craveni from the original seller. He has given up on all snails: j Can you imagine, how thrilled I am? ;D

I do hope that they breed soon. Unfortunately they have gone burrowed immediately after receiving them. Digged them out yesterday and sat them on food. Some of them have nibbeled a bit and have gone again on the quickest way to burrow. Most of them have an stunted growth, but I do hope, that they will produce soon fertile eggs.

You probably know this but when Fredrik from Sweden got some we looked into this species a little and we discovered they come from high altitudes, and possibly prefer cooler conditions than most Achatinids.
